This will just be something short and sweet, I promise. In a recent guest post I wrote for Everything Missguided I named my closest friends as my role models. Let me quote one thing I wrote which is the the core reason I am writing this today.
My best friend, C, is the strongest person I know. She is independent and strong-willed and I look up to that so much. She knows me for me and has given me so much of her strength when I was in a dark place.
C, if you are reading this (which you will be because this is part of your birthday present) I want you to know that I am so thankful for you in my life. I appreciate and love you and your weird quirks so much I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if that ever went away. I am so proud of everything you have accomplished in your life so far and I admire you so much for always pushing forward no matter what. You are the most kindhearted and accepting person I know and your words of advice have always helped me make the right decision. Your humor never stops to crack me up until I am just on laughing/crying heap on the floor.
Starting with this winter you will enter a new chapter of your life. A scary, exciting and fresh adventure lies ahead of you. I vow to always be there with you, one step at a time. I wish you the world, but above all just have fun. (And click here.)
