A golden kind of day is Fiona’s second autumn portfolio. Part self-portrait, part nature photography, she aspired to show the viewer a lively representation of her kind of October afternoon. Fiona’s cat, Nala, was kind enough to model for a few shots.
This second portfolio of mine is mainly focused on light and shadows via self-portraits. Being in front and behind the camera proved a little tricky and it took my a lot of tries to get these results. A big challenge was to capture the autumn sun: I had to be camera-ready whenever there was good light, so this little shoot pretty much took up the whole day. I also tried to keep the images dynamic and alive. All in all I can say that for my first try I am pretty content with the outcome of these pictures.
