A couple of weeks ago, I spent a weekend with my family in the mountains of Austria. Here are some impressions of that short trip.

To anyone still reading this —
First of all, hello friend of the Internet, I hope you’re doing well. What have you been up to lately? Did school/uni/college start for you already?
I just wanted to give you guys a quick update regarding my life. As some of you might remember, I mentioned a couple of posts back that I would be doing a semester abroad in Belgium – well, this is me writing to you on my first day here!
It’s currently about 10 pm and my two friends (K and L) and I had a pretty eventful day. I’m not going to say too much because I want to tell you all about this experience in a new ‘education diary‘ post, but just know that I am doing great and I already feel like this is the start of five amazing months!
Love,
Wow, such incredible photos! Glad you’re doing well in Belgium so far. ☺

That view is breathtaking. I mean, the simple thought of waking up to that, reading a book beside a window with that view, or even doing nothing, gives my soul this strange peace.
AND I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT YOU BEING IN BELGIUM! Can’t wait for your next posts 🙂

It really was. I actually spent hours reading my books outside with the vast mountain view in front of me – it was quite the experience. Hiking was (of course) involved too.
AND ME TOO ME TOO! Happy to hear that 🙂

I still can’t get over the view we had, even now, weeks later. And to think the people who live there get to wake up to that every day! I hope so too, thanks Priya xx

Austria seems like a nice place to get lost in.
Like with money and food that is, not LOST lost.
Will your Belgian posts concern Belgian food? I had their chocolate and this rice nice pizza-like dish once it was fucking amazing

😂😂 well, fun fact, my cousin and I got lost on a hiking trip in the mountains and ended up having to hike double the distance… so I’d say that getting lost is definitely a possibility too hahah. And ooooh yes, if you want some greasy food, come to Austria.
Of course I will write about the food as well, how couldn’t I?! The “rice nice pizza like dish” sounds… interesting? I have not had anything like that just yet but I do agree that the chocolate is amazing – just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

I’m looking forward to reading about Belgium. Another place on my ridiculously long-list of places I want to travel to. But the mountains in Austria – WOW. So breathtakingly stunning. And as a random point – I love playgrounds as well. I take my little sisters and just pretend it’s more about them and not me. x

I’ve only been here for a few days and already I’m counting it as one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been to. So if you get the opportunity to visit Belgium (or Austria), I say take it! You won’t regret it. And HAHAHA yes, I do the same with my cousins 😂 x
