Monthly Music: january 19

I know, I know, we’re already half way into February and I’m hitting you up with my January playlist. I like to think of it as fashionably late – because is there really ever a bad time for music?

January is exam season. Exams mean scattered mind, scattered everything. This playlist is no different, so much so that I can’t accurately summarise my listening habits of January. Enjoy….. I guess?

What have some of your recent music favourites been? As you know, I’m always on the lookout for new music so let me know!

Let’s Drive by Billy Uomo

Let’s Drive is such a chill, laid-back song that had me doing really weird head movements whenever I listened to it. Don’t know what I’m on about? Listen to the song and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

I Can’t Quit You Baby by Led Zeppelin

There are no words to express how much I love Led Zeppelin but this song in particular has become a new favourite of mine. I admire the raw emotions this song manages to bring across which make for a pretty sexy song (if I may say so myself).

S’gonna by Okey Dokey

(For some reason WordPress won’t let me embedd this song, so if you want to listen to it, click on the blue link.) S’gonna is a very high energy song by Okey Dokey, a band that has been on my radar for a while now. It’s one of their latest works, seeing as it was released at the beginning of January.
