Ever since I saw your short video on the arrival of spring (god, that was so long ago), I’ve been waiting for another one like that from you! And this makes me really excited because as soon as I saw the thumbnail of your video, my mind thought of Satie’s Gymnopedie, and that’s the music you used (I stopped breathing for a good second there).
This really made me smile, Fiona. It made me feel like I was sitting down to a quiet, peaceful meal with you, and god, I want to visit Vienna again. I don’t know how to properly express what this lovely little video made me feel, but if I had to put a word to it, it would be nostalgic. Yes, overwhelmingly, beautifully so. I love your content so much.
hahahah what a coincidence! Crazy how aligned the universe sometimes is :’) Satie’s Gymnopedie no. 1 has to be one of my top three favourite songs for the piano – it makes me feel everything all at once.
